Melbourne Business School's Executive MBA degree ranked best in Australia
Our MBA for high-performing professionals has been judged the best of its kind in Australia, and 27th best in the world, in the latest QS global rankings report.
One of the world's largest surveys of business schools, the QS World University Rankings rates various degrees and universities by region and specialisation.
Our Executive MBA was placed in the top five in the Asia Pacific region, alongside INSEAD in Singapore and CEIBS in Shanghai, as well as the best in the country.
Update, July 2021: Our Executive MBA has again been ranked the best in Australia, in the 2021 QS rankings, as well as in the 2020 rankings from The Economist and Financial Times.
The Executive MBA program is designed for experienced managers who want to complete an MBA degree without putting their career on hold. Students stay on-site at Melbourne Business School for 17 long-weekend modules over 18 months, as well as one week in Asia.
The program requires a minimum of five years' experience in management, as well as an undergraduate degree.
Dean Professor Ian Harper said the ranking reflected the School's ongoing commitment to deliver education programs designed to suit the needs of business.
"Business is changing faster than ever before, so business schools need to make sure the way they deliver degrees and training programs, as well as what they teach, is up to date," Professor Harper said.
"At Melbourne Business School, we pride ourselves on staying connected to the business community to make sure our education programs meet the demands of corporate Australia and the world."
In the past year, QS has refined the way it compiles Executive MBA rankings by taking into account a school’s reputation among academics and employers, demographic of the cohort and the uplift of salary after graduation.
