Board and Leadership
It takes exceptional leadership to run a business school that's known for the quality of the leaders it produces.
We're guided by a team including the CEOs of leading national and international companies who help make sure that what we do is relevant to the needs of business.
It also includes top academics with experience at the world's best business schools, who ensure that what we teach in the classroom is backed by the best research and evidence.

Industry leaders work with us to help shape the future of business education.
Under the Executives-in-Residence Program, Melbourne Business School appoints leaders of the business community to share their experience with our students, faculty members and client organisations.
The program, which can draw leaders from public, private and not-for-profit sectors, provides another avenue for executives to engage with the School’s activities, be it teaching, research, thought leadership, convening and other activities.
This way, the design and delivery of our activities continue to evolve with input from contemporary leaders in business and society. In turn, our Executives-in-Residence gain exposure and can influence Australia’s next generation of leaders. The input they provide augments our faculty and other key stakeholders, including those in our short courses and custom solutions.

Our degree programs aren't just the best in Australia – they're also the most practical.
We teach our students to excel as individuals as well as work effectively in teams, so they're prepared for the demands and challenges of being a workplace leader.
Students also undertake industry placements at companies like L'Oreal and Jetstar during their studies, where they learn to apply classroom knowledge and theory to real-world projects that achieve results.
