Where is your campus?

Melbourne Business School is located at 200 Leicester Street, Carlton, Victoria, Australia.

Our Carlton campus is just four tram stops from the centre of Melbourne and 21 kilometres from Tullamarine Airport.

What are your terms and conditions?

Full payment is required to secure a place, attend, or access learning materials for all Short Courses.

Detailed information on programs and fees can be found on individual short course pages. Payment can be made by credit card, invoice, or via a purchase order.

Admission for programs with selective enrolment will be reviewed upon application. Short-listed applicants will receive and email with a link for further information.

If you are unable to attend a short course, MBS will issue a credit note (to the payor) of the full program fee, less $500 administration costs. In circumstances beyond the parties’ control, such as programs affected by COVID-19 disruptions, the Director of Admissions may, at their discretion, provide a full refund or a full credit note to the participant. If a program is cancelled by MBS, the participant will be offered either a full refund or full credit note at the participant’s election.

Are group booking discounts available?

Do people from the same organisation have to attend the same course to be eligible for a group discount?

No, people from the same organisation attending other MBS short courses may qualify for a group booking discount. Please contact contact Sarah Fay on [email protected] or 0481 181 858 for more information.

Can I get FEE-HELP?

Fee help is available for Degree Programs only. We do not offer Fee Help for Short Courses.

Do your programs have entrance requirements? Do I need formal qualifications?

Anyone can enrol into a Short Course!

Most of our Short Courses do not have entry requirements. There are a handful of programs such as the Advanced Management Program which has a short application process.

Will your course give me credit to a bachelors or master’s degree?
Short Courses are non-award however you will obtain a digital badge at the completion of the program and points towards the Certificate of Professional Excellence which provides a discount into the Award Programs Melbourne Business School offers. Digital badges can be used in email signatures or digital resumes, and on social media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. Each badge contains verified metadata that describes the qualification and the process required to earn them.
I have a master’s degree. Is the General Management Program (GMP) appropriate for me?
The General Management Program is like a Mini MBA. If your master’s was in a specific specialisation then yes the General Management Program would certainly expand on your learning.
I come from the public sector. Would your courses be suitable for me?
That's a great question! We actively encourage professionals from the public, private, and non-profit sectors to join our courses. This diversity isn't just a matter of good policy; it's a core part of our pedagogical approach that directly benefits your learning and career.
Do you offer the programs in other languages?
All programs are delivered in English.
What does prework include?
The prework varies depending on the program and can include articles to read as well as self-assessments or 360 degree surveys. You will receive more information on how to prepare from your Program Manager approximately four weeks prior to the program commencement.
What do I receive at the end of the course?

Melbourne Business School is committed to providing you with the tools necessary to achieve your professional goals and we understand that communicating your credentials in an ever-expanding online marketplace can be challenging.

From 2020, all participants who complete an MBS Short Course will receive their certification as a digital badge. Each badge contains verified metadata that describes the qualification and the process required to earn them.

Representing skills as a badge gives earners a way to share their abilities online in a way that is simple, trusted and can be verified in real time. Badges provide employers and peers concrete evidence of what was done to earn the credential and the skills acquired. It's an easy, visual way for employers to see where candidates have learned and what they can do.

I am travelling from overseas or interstate and need accommodation. Do you have any suggestions?

Yes, we have options available.

Some programs have a residential component and includes accommodation as part of your program fee. Otherwise, these accommodation providers are located within close proximity to Melbourne Business School.

What sort of accommodation does the school offer? Is it suitable for senior executives?

Can my partner accompany me and stay with me?

What time does the course start and finish?
Each program has a unique timetable, start and finish times will be sent to you via email four weeks prior to program commencement by your Program Manager.
When will I get my prework information?
Approximately four weeks prior to the program commencing.

There is limited metered on-street parking available.

Each facility will have varying rates and operating hours and are not affiliated with Melbourne Business School.

What do I need to bring with me?

Each program has different requirements. You will receive details regarding preparation activities and what to bring with you approximately four weeks prior to program commencing.

The program fee covers tuition, learning materials and meals for the duration of the program and accommodation if you are attending a residential program.

I can't access Canvas?

Please use the email address that was used during enrolment into the program. Otherwise, contact your Program Manager for assistance.

I haven't received the password request email from Canvas?
