Melbourne Business School ranked top MBA program in Oceania by QS
Melbourne Business School's MBA program has been ranked in the top 30 in the world, and the best in Oceania.
The QS Global MBA Rankings 2019 measure the strength of MBA programs at almost 250 schools around the world by assessing the employability of students, entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes, return on investment, thought leadership and class and faculty diversity.
Professor Ian Harper, Dean of Melbourne Business School, said the result reflected the high achievements of the school's graduates.
"Our high position in the rankings by QS and others is testament to the quality of our faculty and especially our students," he said.
"Melbourne Business School attracts some of the best and brightest minds from around the world, who come here to learn as much from each other as from our MBA program. The students are integral to this result – their success is our success."
QS said it had introduced a category for Oceania business schools covering Australia and New Zealand for the first time in 2019, after previously including them in the Asian region.
"Having been grouped with Asian business schools in last year’s ranking, this year sees institutions based in Australia and New Zealand get their own separate table," QS said.
"Ranked in first place is Melbourne Business School, one of six institutions from the city of Melbourne in this year’s table."
