Richmond President Peggy O'Neal to speak at Women and Management Dinner 2018
One of Melbourne Business School's most-loved annual events is returning in its 26th year with an impressive list of guest speakers.
The president of Richmond Football Club, Peggy O'Neal, will join World Vision's first female CEO Claire Rogers and Reserve Bank of Australia board member Kathryn Fagg at the Women and Management Dinner 2018.
The trio will join a conversation about resilience and the challenges facing female leaders in 2018 led by Professorial Fellow Amanda Sinclair at the gala event to be held at Mural Hall on June 21.

"I have the good fortune to be involved in something I love: sport and, more particularly, the Richmond Football Club. We have had to bounce back when things haven’t gone our way on the field and off the field," said Ms O'Neal.
"In the past few years, I have learned that failure is a great teacher and that resilience happens when there is support so that you are allowed to make mistakes and to try again.
"I am delighted that Melbourne Business School is using the occasion of this annual dinner to facilitate an in-depth look at the importance of resilience."
Jo Stavers, Associate Director of Advancement at Melbourne Business School, said the Women and Management Dinner was a signature event each year and one of the school community's most anticipated evenings.
"Each year it is a forum where women and men come together to celebrate the successes of inspirational female leaders and explore what more needs to be done to support the careers of women in management," she said.
"Women still remain under-represented in senior leadership roles, despite the great strides towards equality in the workforce that have been made in recent decades."
Between them, this year's guest speakers share many decades of experience at the highest levels of public and corporate life.
Prior to joining World Vision in November 2016, Ms Rogers was the Head of Digital Banking for ANZ and Chairman of Ridley College.
As well as the Reserve Bank, Ms Fagg sits on the boards of Boral, Djerriwarrh Investments and Incitec Pivot and is President of Chief Executive Women. Ms Fagg also chairs the Melbourne Recital Centre and Breast Cancer Network of Australia.
The panel discussion on resilience will come after a keynote speech by Professor Jill Klein about her research into the topic.
The Women and Management Dinner was first held in 1992 by Prof Sinclair and Catherine Walter AM with a small group of female Melbourne Business School alumni and students. It has since grown into a popular annual tradition.
"This event is one of the only opportunities to enjoy a conversation of this type in a beautiful setting, and with a diverse group of male and female leaders from Melbourne's business community," Ms Stavers said.
