Summer exchange in Australia for 44 MBA students

Exchange students from around the world got a taste of Australia as part of their Brand Management class at Melbourne Business School.

Forty-four students flew in from a number of the world’s top business schools including Cornell, Darden, Duke, HEC, IE, Kellogg, Kenan-Flagler, McCombs, NUS, Rotman, and UCT in early January.

The visiting students joined 45 MBS MBA students for the week-long summer class taught by MBS Associate Professor and world-renowned brand expert Mark Ritson.

The visiting students were able to enjoy Melbourne’s unrivalled summer evenings and network with MBS students, at daily after-class barbecues on campus that included a selection of Australian wines and fresh Australian delicacies – including kangaroo and emu for those with more adventurous palates.

While some students have already headed back home, others have stayed on to complete more subjects at MBS and will attend major Melbourne events this month including the Australian Open Tennis Championship and cricket at the MCG.
