Sustainability used to sit neatly within a specialist team. Today, it influences decisions across strategy, finance, risk, operations, people and governance. So, who owns it now?

MBS alumni and students are invited to join Kate Dundas, Executive Director of the United Nations Global Compact Network Australia, in conversation with Dr Gary Veale, Executive Director of the Sustainable Value Creation Institute.

Together, they will explore what business leaders need to understand about today’s sustainability landscape, why sustainability can no longer be treated as a standalone discipline, and how it is shaping strategy, risk management, decision-making and long-term value creation across organisations.

The conversation will take place on Friday, 16 October from 5.30pm to 6.30pm, followed by a networking mixer in the Hub.
