For our second Alumni Evenings event of 2026, Associate Professor Jamie Cross asks: What do war, oil shocks and trade restrictions actually mean for Australia?
Drawing on his research in macroeconomics, oil markets, and economic policy, he will explore how these distant disruptions affect the price we pay for fuel and groceries, the interest rate on our home loans, what the government can (and can’t) do about it, and the broader implications of these challenges for business leaders.
We hope you can join us for this compelling presentation. The talk will be followed by networking canapes and drinks with fellow alumni. If you can't make it in person, you are also welcome to join online.
