Chi Woo, Partner, Deloitte

Chi leads the Sustainability and Climate Change team at Deloitte Australia and has over 23 years’ international experience. Chi supports businesses, NGOs and governments internationally, on integrating sustainability into business models and strategies, improving disclosures aligned with the expectations of regulators, investors and customers, and assurance.

Kate Hart, Partner, Kearny

Kate leads Kearny’s Strategic Operations practice and co-leads the firm’s ESG practice. With a specialist focus on operational strategy, business transformation, supply chain management, procurement and business process redesign. She holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School (Dean's list) and brings a strong industry background including roles in Mining, Oil & Gas and Telecommunications.

Richard Evans, Managing Director, Talent Nation

Richard founded Talent Nation in 2012 and is a leading recruiter for sustainability-related roles. Talent Nation is a purpose driven executive search and recruitment firm; focused on environmental, sustainability, energy, HSSEQ, not for profit and social enterprise roles. Richard holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School, a Master of Engineering in Management, and a Bachelor of Forestry Science from the University of Canterbury.

Claire Hanratty, Impact & Evaluation Advisor, GoodWolf

Claire is an internationally experienced CEO and director in the for-purpose and impact sectors with a deep commitment to delivering positive social and environmental outcomes. Claire’s qualifications include MA, International Relationships & Development – Environmental Impact Investing (Oxford Brookes University), MBA (Insead, France), BComm & Admin (1st Class, Victoria University, Wellington, NZ).

Dr Gary Veale, Executive Director, Centre for Sustainability and Business, Melbourne Business School (moderator)

Gary is the Executive Director of the MBS Centre for Sustainability and Business. Prior to joining MBS in late 2020, Gary led a specialist sustainability-related consulting firm and was formerly a Director with KPMG where he led several teams. He has a PhD in the role of nature in unlocking human potential and over 25 years of experience in consulting/industry.
