What does the search process in ETA actually look like from the inside? What are the best practices, the hard lessons, and what does it take to get from day one to close? Join us for a panel discussion with 3 seasoned searchers on Thursday 6 August, the talk starts at 6pm sharp. The evening wraps at 7:30pm before we head upstairs to Prince Alfred's for networking drinks and food available for purchase.

Kelsey Winney is an investor, operator and former traditional search fund entrepreneur. With a background leading teams in the auction and fine art industry, she spent six months pursuing acquisitions before transitioning to oversee family office investments and real estate projects, coming out the other side with sharp instincts and hard-won perspective.

Tim Williams is the Managing Director of Alfred Lewis Engineering, a precision machining business in Braeside, Melbourne, which he acquired through a self-funded search. With a career spanning seven countries and five industries, Tim brings an unfiltered operator's view to the panel: less theory, more factory reality.

Rob Gaunt acquired ACE Training and MultiSkills Training through SMEVentures, one of Australia's ETA accelerators. Now five years into operating, he co-founded Trivium Partners to back the next generation of searchers through their own acquisitions. Rob comes with both experience and fresh perspective as to what it takes to progress in search.

Ticket proceeds for charity: Australian Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship (ACRE) supports entrepreneurship education in regional and rural communities, including social enterprise schools for young people.
