Feeling out of place, hyper-aware of how you're perceived, or worried you’re not enough - these are often chalked up to imposter syndrome. But for many women, these feelings reflect something more structural than personal.
In this 60-minute masterclass, Associate Professor Jody Evans from Melbourne Business School invites you to rethink the imposter story. Drawing on the latest research and her work with women in leadership across sectors, Jody will explore how systemic factors, like bias in feedback, underrepresentation, and unrealistic expectations, fuel these feelings, and why pathologising normal discomfort can do more harm than good.
Together, we’ll name what’s really going on, and tame the inner critic that holds too many women back. You’ll walk away with practical tools to:
- Reflect and grow without harsh self-judgment,
- Build a strength-based leadership narrative,
- And stay grounded when the system makes you feel like you don’t belong.
This is not about fixing you. It’s about seeing you - clearly and fully - as the leader you already are.
Please register by Thursday, 17 July 2025 for in-person tickets. Online registrations will remain open until the masterclass begins.
