Leadership Lessons from the American Civil War by the Harvard Club of Victoria (alumni only)
Melbourne Business School degree alumni are invited to this Harvard Club of Victoria event.
On June 4, Ted Blamey (Harvard MBA 1970) offers a special masterclass in decision-making and leadership. He will lead us in a dynamic discussion through the fascinating case 'Leadership Lessons from the American Civil War', using the celebrated Harvard Business School case method. The case examines how a young colonel should deal with a crisis he confronts the day before the defining battle of the US Civil War — the Battle of Gettysburg. The session provides a highly stimulating and interactive experience.
This enjoyable event is suitable for people of all walks, backgrounds, and ages. It is particularly beneficial for early and mid-career executives and professionals, those eager to experience the Harvard case method at its finest, and anyone who embraces leadership challenges.
A brief background note on the Civil War will be sent out to all participants in advance.
