General Management Program

Improve the way you manage day-to-day business and other core work functions with our General Management Program.

Combining business theory and practice, we give you a foundational understanding of supervising others, strategy, finance and marketing, and how they work together to create a successful organisation.

Program (Optional Residential)

Onsite program delivery will commence at 9:00am on day 1 of the program and conclude at approximately 4:30pm on the final day.

Aviva Berzon
Program Director | General Management Program

Harnessing her passion for unlocking leadership capability in others, Aviva moved away from legal practice and into consulting; facilitating programs and coaching professionals from government, corporate and commercial clients.
She specialises in relationship building, negotiation, conflict management and influential communication and is passionate about supporting individuals to develop their leadership and management skills to maximise performance and enhance results. 




Brandon Lee
Presenter | Strategy

Brandon’s research focuses on the emergence and evolution of new markets and industries. He examines firm-level strategies and broader market-level competitive dynamics and institutions and their interrelationships. He has a particular interest in those market niches that arise due to opportunities created by the negative environmental and social externalities associated with conventional means of production. Industry niches such as organic food, renewable energy technologies and green building are all sources of innovation and social change that can reshape consumer preferences and consumption patterns, reframe marketing and distribution, and alter how goods and services are produced.

Henry Botha
Presenter | Finance

Henry has spent his career working in accountancy and finance. He has extensive experience in consulting and has presented numerous financial management workshops for executives. He is well known as a facilitator who breaks down finance into straightforward steps, while presenting in a highly interesting and engaging manner.





Don O'Sullivan
Presenter | Marketing

With more than 20 years’ experience as a marketing consultant and academic in the field, Don is a well-regarded expert with a global perspective, having worked in Australia, Europe and North America. He currently consults to various firms on managing marketing performance and marketing metrics. Don has also led teams in developing award-winning international marketing campaigns.

This is an optional residential program. The program fee covers tuition, learning materials and meals during the workshop. As evening activities are part of the program, we strongly recommended that participants stay at our preferred, nearby, hotel provider, Rydges on Swanston, or arrange accommodation close to our Carlton campus. Rydges offer Melbourne Business School participants special rates and exclusive benefits.

Applications typically close four weeks prior to commencement, however, to secure your place we encourage you to apply early. Applications received less than four weeks prior to commencement will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
