Karen (Etty) Jehn

Professor of Management

Karen (Etty) Jehn joined Melbourne Business School in 2008 as a Professor of Management.

Etty completed her PhD in Organisational Behaviour at Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and has since held a number of professorial positions at the University of Pennsylvania, Stanford University and Leiden University.

Etty has expertise in the areas of diversity, teamwork and negotiation, and has worked with companies such as AT&T, NASA, Xerox, Federal Express, AGSM, the United States Postal Service and more.

Etty’s research has been published and extensively awarded in renowned journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, The Leadership Quarterly, Academy of Management Review and Academy of Management Journal. Her research has received accolades from the Dean of Melbourne Business School and the University of Melbourne, she was awarded the Redmond Barry Distinguished Professorship in 2016, and became an IACM Fellow in 2021.
