Do your programs have entrance requirements? Do I need formal qualifications?
What are the scholarship eligibility criteria?
To be eligible you must:
- Be currently employed in the Australian health sector
- Be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident
- Intend to complete a Bastas Academy for Health Leadership course and apply your learning to improve the health sector
- Commit to enrolling in and completing the course.
Please note: Scholarships are not available to employees of DBG Health or affiliated companies.

How do I apply for a scholarship?
Scholarships are applied for as part of the course application process.
To be considered:
1. Click the “Apply” button next to your chosen course
2. Complete the application form
3. When prompted, select “Yes” to indicate that you would like to be considered for a scholarship.
There is no separate scholarship application form.
Will your course give me credit to a bachelors or master’s degree?
Short Courses are non-award however you will obtain a digital badge at the completion of the course.
Digital badges can be used in email signatures or digital resumes, and on social media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
Each badge contains verified metadata that describes the qualification and the process required to earn them.
Do you offer the programs in other languages?
What does prework include?
The prework varies depending on the course and can include articles to read as well as self-assessments.
You will receive more information on how to prepare from your Program Manager approximately four weeks prior to thecourse commencement.
What do I receive at the end of the course?
The Bastas Academy for Health Leadership is committed to providing you with the tools necessary to achieve your professional goals and we understand that communicating your credentials in an ever-expanding online marketplace can be challenging.
All participants who complete an BAHL Short Course will receive their certification as a digital badge. Digital badges can be used in email signatures or digital resumes, and on social media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. Each badge contains verified metadata that describes the qualification and the process required to earn them.
Representing skills as a badge gives earners a way to share their abilities online in a way that is simple, trusted and can be verified in real time. Badges provide employers and peers concrete evidence of what was done to earn the credential and the skills acquired. It's an easy, visual way for employers to see where candidates have learned and what they can do.

Yes, we have options available.
Some courses have a residential component and includes accommodation as part of your course fee.

What sort of accommodation does the school offer? Is it suitable for senior executives?
Yes, each of our 45 accommodation rooms feature an ensuite bathroom, television, complimentary modem access points, individual heating and cooling, complimentary toiletries and wifi access.

What time does the course start and finish?
Each course has a unique timetable, start and finish times will be sent to you via email two weeks prior to course commencement by your Program Manager.
Generally, sessions start at 9am and finish at 5pm with dinner at 6pm for residential courses.
When will I get my prework information?

Each facility will have varying rates and operating hours and are not affiliated with Melbourne Business School.
What do I need to bring with me?
Each course has different requirements.
You will receive details regarding preparation activities and what to bring with you approximately four weeks prior to course commencing.
The course fee covers tuition, learning materials and meals for the duration of the course and accommodation if you are attending a residential program.
I can't access the BAHL Online Portal?
Please use the email address that was used during enrolment into the course.
