BAHL Terms and Conditions

  1. I/my organisation will become liable for the fee for the course and will be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. Payment is due in accordance with the details stated in the offer letter and is due no later than 2 weeks prior to course commencement.
  3. My enrolment in the course is not confirmed until full payment is received.
  4. Payment of remaining fee can be made by EFT, Credit Card or as outlined in my invoice.
  5. If I withdraw or cancel my attendance for a course prior to 5 business days of the commencement of the course, BAHL will issue a credit note  to the payor consisting of the full course fee (not including the scholarship amount) less $500 administration costs. If cancellation is received within 5 business days of course commencement, a credit note may be issued at the discretion of BAHL with consideration to the circumstances surrounding the cancellation. BAHL reserves the right to not issue a credit note if cancellation is received within 5 days of course start.
  6. A credit note is transferable to another person and may be applied to any course offered through BAHL (providing the proposed replacement participant meets the entry criteria for the given course), however the scholarship is not transferable.
  7. If for any reason my course is cancelled by BAHL, I may choose to enrol in an alternate course (up to the same value) or will be provided with a full refund.
  8. If I do not attend the course, BAHL reserves the right not to issue a certificate of completion or equivalent recognition.
  9. All course prerequisites, as specified by BAHL in the course outlines, must be met prior to attendance and you are responsible for ensuring that the course meets your needs. We do not provide refunds if you find a course does not meet your expectations after attending. Please contact us before your course if you have any questions as to its suitability.
  10. The terms and conditions of your enrolment and participation in the course you are enrolling in are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia and I unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
  11. All intellectual property in course materials, content and courseware belongs to BAHL and must not be modified, copied, distributed, displayed, published or commercially exploited. You may not create derivative works from it and must not share online passwords or any other means of accessing course materials or content.

 

Scholarship Terms and Conditions

  1. The recipient holds an Australian citizenship or permanent residency at the time of accepting the scholarship.
  2. The scholarship cannot be deferred or transferred to any other course or future intake, even if I cannot continue the course.
  3. Should the recipient be called up on disciplinary behaviour, BAHL reserves the right to cease the scholarship.
  4. If a recipient has provided false or misleading information or does not adhere to the terms and conditions of the scholarship, the scholarship may cease, and the recipient may be required to repay any scholarship benefits to BAHL.
  5. The recipient agrees to:
    a. commence the course as directed by BAHL and complete the course as per the advertised timetable.
    b. advise BAHL if they secure a scholarship of greater value, understanding they will be required to relinquish this Scholarship.
    c. to endeavour to take an active role in the BAHL alumni community - offering themselves for positions of leadership and participating in events as a representative of BAHL, including opportunities to meet the donor, where relevant.
    d. provide information to BAHL regarding the impact of receiving this scholarship.
