Leigh, Operations Manager for Campeyn Group, a facilities maintenance services company, said participating in the Emerging Managers Program
gave him new found confidence performing his role.
Prior to joining Campeyn Group in 2013, Leigh ran his own successful house painting business for 12 years.
“This program had a profound impact on me personally, on all sorts of levels, not just professionally,” Leigh said.
“Being able to identify where I should focus my efforts as a manager has helped me get a much greater handle on my working day, which led to achieving more output with less input.”
Leigh said the diagnostic tools he learned in the course helped him identify his strengths and weaknesses around management techniques.
“The flow-on effect of these improvements have seen an increase in our work culture which ultimately improves our customer service, our efficiencies, and most importantly, ensures campaign is a better place to work,” he said.
The Emerging Managers Program focuses on helping participants understand themselves as managers, identify strengths and opportunities and, ultimately, emerge with new skills and behaviours to take back into organisations.
“I couldn't recommend this program highly enough to anyone who has ambitions to one day becoming a manager, or someone who's in a management role looking to further develop their skills.”
