Yalçın is a Professor of Operations Management and serves as the Director of the Centre for Business Analytics at Melbourne Business School. He holds a dual-title PhD degree in Business Administration and Operations Research. His research spans revenue management, dynamic pricing and stochastic modelling. Yalçın teaches in Melbourne Business School’s MBA and Executive Education programs and consults on advanced analytics projects in forecasting, pricing and inventory optimisation.
PROGRAM DIRECTOR AND PROFESSOR OF MARKETING MELBOURNE BUSINESS SCHOOL
Ujwal teaches Marketing Strategy, Marketing Analytics, Digital Product Management, and Business Analytics in MBA and Executive Education programs. He has delivered short programs on data analytics to over 2000 senior executives across the world. His research focuses on measurement and understanding market phenomena, including consumer decision making, firm actions, and competitive interactions between firms. He currently serves as an Advisor to L’Oréal, Forethought, Lauretta.io, and Zetaris.

Jeannie is a Professor of Law and the Director of the Centre for AI and Digital Ethics at the University of Melbourne. Jeannie’s teaching and research focuses on consumer and data protection law and ethics in the context of emerging digital technologies. Jeannie is an affiliate researcher with the Melbourne Social Equity Institute and the Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision Making and Society, as well as a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law.

REEARCH PROFESSOR, LANGAUGE TECHNOLOGIES INSTITUTE CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY
Eduard is the Executive Director of Melbourne Connect, a research and tech transfer hub at the University of Melbourne, and a Professor in the University’s School of Computing and Information Systems. He is also a research professor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Language Technologies Institute. Eduard’s research primarily revolves around computational semantics and natural language processing, addressing machine reading, information extraction, text summarisation and more.
