New Leaders Development Program

Enhance your skills as a new manager with our New Leaders Development program.

Using a combination of practical tools, personal development and peer discussion, we help you boost your self-awareness, confidence and expertise so you can become a more effective leader. You’ll learn how to better support your team through increased impact in areas such as conflict management, performance-building and goal-setting.

You will gain the insights and tools you need to build your personal, team and organisational effectiveness and learn to delegate effectively, manage conflict, lead with confidence, set realistic goals and coach others.

"It was insightful and challenging. It gives you lots of areas you can focus on for further development."

Andrew Kells
Supply Operations Manager | Department of Internal Affairs New Zealand | Wellington, New Zealand

In this residential program, participants stay on campus and engage in workshop activities after hours. The program fee covers tuition, meals and accommodation during the workshop. Please apply 4-6 weeks prior to program commencement.

Please note: From 1 Jan 2018, this program will be an optional residential program where it no longer has a compulsory residential component. However due to learning activities that run into the evenings, we strongly recommend that participants reside nearby with our preferred hotel provider, Rydges on Swanston. Program fees cover tuition, learning materials and meals only during the program.
