Motivating and Managing Performance

Inspire your team to organisational success through our Motivating and Managing Performance program.

This intensive learning experience is designed to strengthen your skills in managing employee performance and encouraging their improvement – two abilities that are fundamental to business-wide effectiveness. Our relevant concepts and live performance feedback will also help reduce work-related stress while boosting your overall leadership capabilities.

Program journey

Onsite program delivery will commence at 8:30am on day 1 of the program and conclude at approximately 5:00pm on the final day.

Carol-Gill.jpgCarol Gill joined Melbourne Business School in 2006 as an Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour.

Prior to that she has worked at the Department of State Development, Business and Innovation on a number of policy and research projects. She has also held positions at BHP and Bank of Melbourne and consulted with many high-profile public and private sector clients and global organisations at Morgan & Banks and Clarke Hummerston.

This program is non-residential. The program fee covers tuition and meals during the workshop. Please apply 4-6 weeks prior to program commencement.
*When undertaken on an assessed basis as part of a Specialist Certificate, course fees are GST exempt.

Accredited pathway

This program may be undertaken in an assessed mode, leading to an accredited Specialist Certificate from the University of Melbourne. The Specialist Certificate provides the flexibility to tailor your course to your specific developmental needs by choosing from a select range of open programs.

Assessment

  • A 1250-word case study at the end of the workshop (worth 50%)
  • A 1250-word organisational analysis report, due four weeks after the workshop ends (worth 50%)

Fees

If you undertake this program in an assessed mode, the fee is A$3,000 and GST exempt.
