Leadership and Change in Healthcare

Prepare yourself to take on organisational change initiatives through our Leadership and Change in Healthcare program.

Founded on our evidence-based approach and experience in transforming leadership within challenging and complex healthcare environments across the Asia-Pacific region, our program focuses on analysing and tackling the dynamics of organisational change within your workplace. We engage you with the latest thinking, practical methods, strategies and frameworks you can implement immediately, to manage key stakeholder relationships and ensure sustainable results within your organisation.

"Having a program solely focused on health meant that we could relate to the stress that we are all under, both from the clinical and fiscal perspectives, and how this impacts on leadership. I was impressed that, by the end of the week, the barrier of professional titles eroded quickly."

Leona Dann
Director of Midwifery | MidCentral District Health Board | Palmerston North, New Zealand

Leadership and Change in Healthcare participant 2015

Who should attend?

  • Clinicians, administrators and non-clinical healthcare leaders, responsible for delivering complex projects, implementing change in care systems or leading new services
  • Those responsible for implementing strategic change across boundaries, including collaboration with other services or integration among departments
  • Individual leaders and/or other team members, seeking to design and implement team-based change.

Key benefits

This program differs from many other healthcare leadership programs by drawing on your particular organisational challenges to help you to identify how to navigate them and lead effective change. As a result, you will be able to:
  • Adopt a strategic mindset to implement change through effective decision-making, managing stakeholders and innovative problem-solving
  • Deliver sustainable change, using a system lens, engaging staff and creating culture change
  • Develop your change leadership journey to a new level by building on your strengths and identifying how to create effective leadership teams
  • Ensure your change initiative 'sticks' by using global best-practice models of transformational change, which take account of multiple stakeholders, build strong relationships and leverage engagement
  • Establish strategies and goals for implementing what you have learnt in your workplace.
