The Opportunity 
Reporting to the Executive Director People & Culture you will be part of a small team of highly motivated professionals which has embarked on reshaping the role of the P & C function to provide a strategic people direction for the organisation, supporting the School and its people to meet our business objectives.

This newly created role involves partnering with internal stakeholder groups to provide both strategic and operational advice and support. In addition, you will develop and deliver quality solutions and initiatives to drive capability and organisational development, high performance and employee engagement 

Further accountabilities include:
  • Establishing sound relationships and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Coaching and partnering with people managers on all people matters across the full remit of the employee life cycle: recruitment and retention, engagement, learning and development, performance management, talent management and succession planning
  • Responding to and shaping solutions with agility and pragmatism
  • Actively promoting a positive and consultative P & C style to the business
  • Contributing to the P & C strategy, the planning and implementation of key projects and change initiatives.

About you
Highly motivated and engaged, you are an experienced generalist practitioner, who has held a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced professional services environment. Exposure to an organisation offering business education is advantageous.

This will be accompanied by:
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
  • Excellent communication ability, with verbal, written and interpersonal skills integral to success in this role
  • Demonstrated change management and organisation development experience
  • Focus on achieving outcomes with strong influencing skills
  • Proven record of building trusted relationships and collaborating with internal stakeholders and peers to shape solutions and/or outcomes that meet business requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, get involved in the detail and be ‘hands on’ as required
  • Resilience, with the ability to adapt and be flexible to meet the dynamic needs of the organisation
  • A high level of maturity, acting with integrity at all times
