Reporting to the Director Alumni Relations, the Database Coordinator is responsible for the management and continual improvement of alumni data. This role supports the department’s engagement efforts through the provision of solid database customer record management, analytical and reporting abilities, together with sound co-ordination, organisation and customer service skills.
The key responsibilities include
  • Design, document and manage processes to ensure the integrity and appropriate management of alumni data
  • Continuously improve data quality by proactively sourcing intelligence and adding it to the database in order to build the depth of data
  • Build customised reports and marketing lists
  • Work closely with other departments to safeguard appropriate collection of data on completion of studies
  • Ensure compliance with local and international data collection and privacy legislation.
  • Provide administrative support to the Alumni Relations team as required

Qualifications and experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing databases, data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent knowledge of CRM and marketing automation solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics and ClickDimensions
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrable experience gained within a relevant/similar role, which includes customer record management, customer service delivery, working with people from diverse cultures, industries, job functions and backgrounds at all levels and career stages
