The Melbourne Business School (MBS) is seeking to appoint one new faculty member in the field of Operations Management for the position of Professor or Associate Professor. We will also consider individuals with at least five years of academic experience for the position of Assistant Professor, but preference will be given to candidates eligible for the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. The position will be a full-time appointment involving research, teaching, and administrative responsibilities, and would be either tenured or tenure-track depending on the applicant’s qualifications.

Applicants must have a Ph.D., a record of publishing in top academic journals commensurate with the level of appointment sought, and an excellent teaching record. The candidate should have demonstrated ability to teach core courses in operations management in an MBA program. Interest and/or experience in delivering executive education programs, particularly in Business Analytics, are desirable although not necessary.
